No matter if you already live here or you are only passing by, the places I chose to talk about are incredibly beautiful and close enough if you stay in Montreal.

1.0 Ottawa

In order to catch all the glam, the vibe & the rhythm this beautiful city has, you must chose Canada Day (July 1st) to visit it. I was there this year and I was very impressed.

We didn’t stay long, but those few hours we spent there were full. I enjoyed the parliament hill view. We walked around the parliament building and we took some cool photos of the city. And, in the end, we reserved some time to just walk and enjoy the glam.

You can always complete this trip with a visit at the Tanger Outlets, just to reward yourself .

2.0 Trois-Rivierès, Québec

This city is located in the Mauricie region of Québec, and was founded by French colonists as the second permanent settlement in New France, after Québec City.

With this piece of history in the back of my mind I decided to see what it has to offer, besides its story. I am totally happy that I had the chance to see it because it is such a calm and “coquette” place, perfect for a cliff walk and the fact that has a breeze that makes you forget the heat is great.

Trois – Rivierès

3.0 Ville de Québec

Québec City is the capital of our province, Québec, and it is the second largest city, after Montréal, in this area.

Here, in this beautiful place that has such a European vibe due to its stone buildings and winding streets lined with shops and restaurants, I felt a lot like home.

Some of my favorite spots here are : Vieux-Québec with all its European glam and traditional architecture, Château Frontenac hotel, Montmorency falls and Aquarium Québec.

4.0 Mont-Tremblant

Mont-Tremblant is the first resort we chose to visit, here, in Canada. Is located at only 130 km away from Montréal and it is most famous for its ski resort.

I loved it from the first glance, even though we didn’t get to see it in winter. Although many people come here for snow related activities, this area offers other possibilities like: hiking, cycling, canoeing, fishing or golfing.

I enjoyed from the top those amazing autumn colors and we took amazing photos there.

5.0 Parc Safari

Parc Safari is a zoo and an amusement park situated at only 1h away from Montréal.

We were so pleasantly surprised when we saw that this park has a drive-through area where the visitors can get close to the animals and feed them. It is such a nice concept!

Parc Safari

I’ve had so much fun living and remembering all this trips. I really hope that, if you will ever find yourself in this area, you will use some inspiration from here.
